Did you know that over 100.000 people visit the Bloesem park (Cherry blossom park) in the Amsterdam Forest during the time that the trees are in bloom? This has an impact on the soil, it becomes very compact and that causes lack of water and oxygen. In order to “loosen up” the soil, this year 20 kgs of earthworms and funghi were used….
